Yore is an easy yet powerful, "retro-photography" camera application, it works by using an existing picture as a reference or guide for taking a new one, thus achieving the same point of view of the original photographer. The reference picture appears as a translucent "ghost" layer over the camera preview, the reference picture can be adjusted in many ways to aid alignment, such as adjusting its transparency level, enable edge highlighting, and make it disappear by halves depending on where it gets tapped.

- Show your clients or prospects how good you are as a home improvement contractor or as a car overhauler
- Show your patients how good they look after a nose job or other plastic surgery procedure
- Compare how good you look after cutting your hair short or changing your hairstyle

The possibilities are endless.
Yore offers several visualisation effects to best present the before/after composition, also the location and camera heading is recorded in order to document the photographers position and camera angle relative to the photographed subject, this is specially useful when taking architectural pictures, since the position and camera angle can be shown on a map.
The resulting composition (or "Yore" in the apps parlance) can be saved to the device, or be shared by mail and/or social networks such as Facebook and Twitter.
Features include:
- Select any existing image from your device as a reference.
- Zoom the reference picture to compensate for the distance between camera and subject.
- Edge detection mode: highlights edges and features of the reference picture, which can aid alignment in certain situations.
- Transparency zones: depending on where you tap the reference picture, it becomes transparent by half, giving more flexibility when aligning the original and present scenes.
- Visualisation effects: allow the best composition of the before and after pictures, the effects include Vertical split, Horizontal split, Up-Diagonal split, Down-Diagonal split, Vertical stacking, Horizontal stacking, and Single Image. The "before" and "after" images can be swapped to provide even more flexibility.
- Map integration: lets you get an idea of the position and angle of the camera at the time the picture is taken.
- The before and after images are saved within the application. You can browse and manage the existing "Yore" projects, add or modify a tittle, and create new compositions for export.
- Exporting your compositions (or "Yores") is really easy, just choose the final image dimensions, how you want to share your work, either in your device, email, Twitter or Facebook.
